How we protect you
Profiles with photos and bio, chat on the site, reviews only from people who really booked.
What Pawsa does for you
Everyone can only read and change their own private data. You write to each other in the site's chat, without giving out your number or email.
Reviews can only be left after a booking marked as «Completed», so they come from people who were really there.
With «Report» you alert the admins, and the person you report doesn't see your name. We check every report and can remove content or block an account.
Before you leave your pet
Arrange a trial meeting, ideally where the animal will stay. Talk about food, medicines, habits and fears.
Leave your vet's number and an emergency contact. Put dates, price and what happens if something goes wrong in writing.
If you are a pet sitter
Ask for the health booklet, vaccinations and microchip. Don't accept animals you don't feel able to handle.
Keep the owner's vet number at hand and tell the owner straight away if something isn't right.
Rehoming and adoption
Adoption on Pawsa is free: be wary of anyone asking for money, deposits or «shipping costs». Meet the animal in person before deciding.
When an animal changes home, the change of owner must be registered with your region's pet registry.
Money and data
Don't pay strangers in advance with methods that can't be reversed (top-up cards, crypto, transfers abroad).
No one from Pawsa will ever ask for your password or card details, in chat or by email.
Emergencies
If an animal is unwell, call a vet straight away. If you or someone else is in danger, or you see animal abuse, call 112. Then report the person to us.

Tap «Report» on the profile or listing and choose a reason. For urgent cases, or if you can't find the button, write to ciao@pawsa.it.
