In short

Pawsa only uses technical cookies, needed to sign you in and remember your language. No advertising, profiling or analytics cookies: that's why we don't ask for consent with a banner.

Which cookies we use

sb-…-auth-token: keeps you signed in. It is only created when you sign in and disappears when you sign out.

NEXT_LOCALE: remembers the language you chose (Italian or English). It disappears when you close the browser.

Browser storage

Some choices are saved in your browser (localStorage), not on our servers: for example which side of the site you are using (pet owner or pet sitter). You can clear them in your browser settings.

«Near me»

If you tap «Near me», your browser asks for permission to read your location. We use it, rounded to about one kilometre, only to sort results by distance: we don't save it in your account.

Map and payments

Map images come from OpenFreeMap's servers, which see your device's IP address like any website you visit.

When you subscribe you go to Stripe's page, which uses its own cookies for payment security: see Stripe's privacy notice.

How to manage them

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Without the session cookie, though, you can't stay signed in.
